What is Coaching?

Coaching is a collaborative non-directive process, effectively harnessing the client’s previous experiences, and combining natural strengths and abilities to maximise potential and increase success with goals and objectives.

Coaches are not therapists or counsellors, and are more future-focussed and outcomes-based.  A coach offers a different perspective to the client of how they operate in the world. Coaching is an impartial space to safely explore client issues and beliefs, through a series of questions designed to move them from their current reality to a better position.  Realistic action plans are designed to ensure successful achievement of goals.

How we work with you

We conduct a ‘chemistry meeting’ right up front to ensure that client and coach are a good match. Thereafter, an induction session follows, where current issues are highlighted, goals are identified, and a working relationship is co-designed. This session lasts for approximately 2- 3 hours.

Thereafter, typically, clients will have 6-8 sessions lasting 1-2 hours each.  The last session will be a journey tracker, to examine achievements during the coaching relationship, and confirm onward goals.
